Architectural Videography - New London, CT
Bringing spaces to life, beyond the still frame
For years, architectural photography has been the standard for showing buildings, interiors and completed projects. Video gives architects, developers and builders a way to walk people through a space, not just show it to them. I film architectural video alongside my photography, capturing the movement, flow and atmosphere that stills alone can't.
What I film
Walkthroughs of finished buildings and interiors, filmed with smooth, stabilized camera moves
Aerial establishing shots, flown under my FAA Part 107 certification
Active construction, for progress updates and case-study films
How a video project works
Planning. I work with you on a shot list based on how people actually move through the space and what the film is for.
Filming. Video is filmed on its own day, separate from any photo shoot, so neither gets rushed and each gets the right light.
Editing. I edit every film myself. My background is in percussion performance, so music selection, pacing and rhythm are the first things I think about in the edit.
Delivery. A finished 2 to 3 minute film.
Where video earns its keep
A short film helps a project stand out in proposals and interviews, on social media, in award submissions, and on your own portfolio site. For developers, it gives prospective tenants a feel for a building before they visit.
